Elite Hockey League 2009
The Summer Elite Hockey League 2009 season is now in
its 2nd month and showcases the skills of some of
the best talent from the NHL, AHL, ECHL as well as college
level and select junior players who have proven
ready to compete at a higher level. Come out
and support your favorite Alaska hockey stars who make up the majority of the
teams participating in the Summer Elite Hockey
League.

SEHL All-star Game - Tuesday July 21st - 7:00 p.m. Subway Sports Centre
ANCHORAGE, Alaska-- Alaska Sports, LLC is proud to announce
the 2009 Molson Canadian SEHL All-star Game at the Subway Sports Centre
starting at 7:00 p.m.
The SEHL features Alaska's top hockey players from the NHL, College and
Junior A who return to Anchorage in the summer to train and stay in game
shape for their upcoming competitive season.
This years' lineup features Alaskan NHLers and NY Rangers star Brandon
Dubinski, the Atlanta Thrashers Joey Crabb and the Pittsburg Penguins Timmy
Wallace.. Scheduled to play in Goal is former Notre Dame Standout Jordan
Pearce who recently signed to play for the Detroit Redwings.
Other top young stars like William Wrenn (who was taken in the 2nd round of
the 2009 NHL Draft) will head a young stars' lineup that features several
former UAA Seawolves and Alaska Aces and WCHA stars from the past and
future.
Always a fan favorite is the SEHL Skills Competition which will feature a
competition for the fastest Skater in Alaska .
